Candle Holder Molds

Silicone molds for casting candle holders - pillar bases, tealight holders, candlesticks, holder-and-tray combinations and sculptural forms. Cast in plaster or resin, these produce the holder rather than the candle, which is a longer-lived product and one people buy as decor rather than as a consumable.

Holders sell better than candles

A candle burns down and gets thrown away. A holder stays on the shelf, gets photographed, and gets bought as part of a set. If you already sell candles, holders are the obvious attachment sale, and they cost less to produce per unit because plaster is cheaper than wax by volume.

Plaster is the right material here

Cast a candle holder in plaster and you get weight, a matte stone finish and genuine heat resistance. Resin is the wrong choice for anything that sits under a burning wick - it softens with sustained heat and can discolour. If you cast a holder in resin, treat it as decor for LED or flameless candles only.

Fit matters more than looks

A holder that does not grip its candle is a returned product. Check the cavity against the candle you intend to sell with it - standard tealights and standard tapers vary between suppliers by a millimetre or two, which is enough to rattle or jam. Casting a test piece before you commit a batch is worth the ten minutes.
