Easter is a Q1 build, not an April one
Bunny molds sell hardest in the six weeks before Easter, which means the casting happens in February and March. Plaster bunnies need drying and painting time; resin needs full cure before it can ship. If you sell handmade, buy the mold early and cast in batches rather than trying to catch the season live.
Ears are the failure point
Every bunny mold has the same weak spot: the ears are the thinnest, longest section and the last place material reaches. Pour slowly down one wall of the cavity so the mix flows into the ears before it starts thickening, tap the mold to shift trapped air, and wait for a full cure before demolding. Peel the silicone down from the base - never lift a bunny out by its ears.
Beyond Easter
Not every rabbit is a holiday product. The sitting rabbit, silhouette tray and bunny figurine molds read as year-round nursery and cottage decor, which is a longer selling window than the Easter shapes. If you are building a range, mix the two so the collection does not go dead in May.
